Coming from a long line of family involved in the building industry, Hans spent the first 8 years of his working life on the tools.
Attending Ferntree Gully North Primary School and then Upwey High School Hans has a large network of local contacts.
Hans is happily married with three adult children and is still a resident of Ferntree Gully.

Hans commenced a sales cadet ship in the motor car trade.
Due to hard work and a willingness to learn Hans achieved the title of elite salesman Within 4 Years while working a typical 60 Hour week and was able to sell over 10 Million dollars’ worth of cars between 1990 and 1995 while employed at an eastern suburb’s Ford dealer ship and of course enjoyed the recognition and rewards that comes with such an achievement.
Commencing work as an Estate agent in late 1999 due to being disappointed by the agent engaged to sell the family home while upsizing, and deciding he could do better, Hans brings second to none negotiating skills to the table unlike the many rookies, juniors and amateurs in the industry.
